Tennis by Mina is a tennis coaching business run by Mina Abu Saleh. The Tennis by Mina app (shown as “TBM” on your home screen) is how her members see their classes, membership, balance and progress, and how she runs her classes. This policy explains what the app stores about you, why, who can see it, and how to have it removed.
The short version
- We collect only what running your lessons needs.
- No advertising, no tracking, no analytics, and we never sell your information.
- Only members Mina has approved can use the app, and each sees their own details, not anyone else’s.
- You can delete your account yourself, in the app, at any time.
What we store
- Your account
- Email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Your details
- First name, father’s name, family name, phone number, date of birth, preferred language, and a profile picture if you add one.
- A parent or guardian
- For members under 16: the parent or guardian’s name and phone number.
- Your lessons
- Your membership plan and its dates, the classes you are assigned to, attendance, your replies to class reminders (including any note you add), charges, payments and your balance.
- Your progress
- Progress reviews, skill scores, goals, fitness test results and badges, written by Mina.
- Health
- Injuries, medical conditions, medications and whether a medical certificate is on file — only what you or your parent tell Mina, so she can coach you safely.
- Club photos
- Pictures from sessions that Mina adds to the in-app gallery. They can show members, including children.
- Notifications
- If you allow notifications: a push token for your phone, its platform (iPhone or Android) and the app version, and a record of the reminders and messages sent to you.
- Admin notes
- Mina can keep private notes on a member, for example about which group suits them. Members do not see these.
The app does not use your location, contacts, microphone or advertising identifier. It uses your camera or photo library only when you choose a profile picture.
Why we use it
- To confirm who you are and approve your registration.
- To organise classes, record attendance, and keep track of memberships and payments.
- To send class reminders, payment reminders and messages from Mina, if you allow them.
- To follow your progress and coach you safely.
- To contact you or your parent about your lessons.
Payments are made directly to Mina, outside the app. The app records them; it never handles card or bank details.
Who can see it
- You see your own details, classes, balance and published progress reviews.
- Mina, and anyone she gives admin access to help run the business, can see members’ information.
- A coach sees the members of the classes they teach.
- Health details are visible only to you and to Mina and any coach who teaches one of your classes.
- Club photos are visible only to signed-in, approved members. They are never public. If you would like a photo of you or your child removed, ask Mina and she will take it down.
Children
Members can be as young as four. For a member under 16, the account is held by their parent or guardian, who provides the information and agrees to this policy on the child’s behalf. The app is not meant for children to sign up for on their own. A parent or guardian can ask to see, correct or delete their child’s information at any time.
Who handles your information for us
These services store or deliver information so the app can work. None of them may use it for their own purposes.
- Supabase
- Hosts the database, sign-in and stored pictures.
- Expo, Apple and Google
- Deliver push notifications to your phone (Apple for iPhone, Google for Android).
- Resend
- Sends the app’s emails, such as sign-up codes and password codes.
- Cloudflare
- Hosts the website and the admin dashboard.
- GitHub
- Stores encrypted backups of the database.
Some of these services keep data on servers outside Israel. We share information with anyone else only if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you have an account. If you register but are not approved, you can still delete the request yourself from the waiting screen.
When you delete your account, your sign-in, name, contact details, date of birth, parent or guardian details and profile picture are removed for good, together with your health details, progress reviews, fitness results, badges, replies to reminders and notification records. Your class history, memberships, charges and payments stay on the business’s books without your name, because they are part of its accounting records.
The database is backed up regularly. Backups are encrypted and kept for a limited time to recover from mistakes, then deleted, so deleted information leaves the backups as they expire.
Your rights
- Delete: Profile → Delete my account, in the app.
- See or correct: your classes, balance and progress are in the app. To see everything we hold about you, or to correct your details, contact Mina.
- Stop notifications: turn them off in your phone’s settings at any time.
Keeping it safe
All traffic is encrypted. Access is checked by the database itself on every request, so a member can only ever read their own records. Backups are encrypted before they leave the database.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how your information is used, we will tell members in the app first.
